Karim Benzema, a key player in Madrid’s qualification, shared his preference for the opponent in the final, where the Merengues will face either Chelsea or Atletico Madrid. The French striker expressed a preference for facing Chelsea in the final on May 24 in Lisbon.
“We will have to win this final. I would prefer Chelsea but we will see,” he stated.
Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are competing in the second semi-final return match on Wednesday evening.
