Lautaro Martinez leads seven-player Serie A 10-goal and five-assist club

A review of the past two Serie A seasons has identified seven players who have scored at least 10 goals and supplied five or more assists, with Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez topping the list.

The Argentina international has recorded 19 goals and six assists during the period, according to data from Opta. His tally gives him a clear lead among the players who have reached both statistical benchmarks.

Inter team-mate Marcus Thuram is second, having scored 14 goals and created six more. Napoli forward Rasmus Højlund has also found the net 14 times, while contributing five assists.

The pair were both on the scoresheet during Inter’s 3-2 win over Napoli in the third round of Serie A. Inter captain Martinez scored twice before Thuram completed the scoring for his side, while Højlund scored one of Napoli’s two goals.

The figures were published in a list headed “10+5”, referring to the minimum of 10 goals and five assists required for inclusion. Martinez’s 19 goals and six assists put him ahead of Thuram, Højlund and the remaining players.

Paz and Krstovic also reach the mark

Nico Paz is fourth in the ranking after scoring 13 goals and providing six assists during the same period. The Argentina international remains with Como for the 2026-27 season under the agreement reached with Real Madrid.

Paz also scored in Como’s 4-1 victory over Genoa in the same round of Serie A, registering his side’s third goal.

Montenegro forward Nikola Krstovic, of Atalanta, is next on the list with 11 goals and five assists. Juventus forward Kenan Yıldız has scored 10 goals and supplied six assists.

The seven players are completed by Udinese forward Keinan Davis, who has contributed 10 goals and five assists.

The list therefore includes three players with 14 goals or more: Martinez, Thuram and Højlund, while Paz is the only other player to have registered at least 13 goals. Thuram, Martinez, Paz and Yıldız have each provided six assists, the joint-highest total among the seven included.

The statistics cover the last two Serie A seasons and reflect the attacking contributions of players from Inter Milan, Napoli, Como, Atalanta, Juventus and Udinese.
