Lausanne-Sport secure Ivorian-Malian forward Levy Nene on loan

Lausanne-Sport have added Ivorian-Malian centre-forward Levy Nene, who joins the Swiss Super League club from Danish side Nordsjaelland on loan until 30 June 2027.

The 20-year-old switches leagues after two years with Nordsjaelland, having arrived at the Danish club from Right to Dream on a free transfer in July 2024. Nene’s move to Lausanne-Sport represents his first senior club change since leaving the Ghana-based football academy.

Nene has made a fast start to his spell in Switzerland, featuring in three UEFA Conference League qualifying matches and scoring once. He has also appeared once in the Super League, playing 64 minutes in the competition.

The forward operates primarily through the centre of attack and has been handed squad number 77 at Lausanne-Sport. He was born in Kayes and holds Ivorian and Malian nationality.

His arrival adds another attacking option to a Lausanne-Sport side competing in domestic league football and European qualifying this season. The club’s campaign has already included six possible Conference League qualifying matches, with Nene involved in half of those fixtures.

At Nordsjaelland, Nene’s professional development followed his move from Right to Dream, where he had spent the earlier part of his career. The Danish club’s decision to send him to Lausanne-Sport gives the young striker an opportunity to continue his progress in a different domestic competition while remaining contracted to his parent club.

Nene’s listed market value is €1m, and his loan agreement includes a return to Nordsjaelland at the end of June 2027. No permanent transfer fee is attached to the move.

The switch also places Nene in Switzerland during a season in which he has already contributed a goal in European qualifying, alongside his initial league appearance. His involvement has so far come largely from the bench, with his Super League appearance accounting for 64 minutes.

Nene has now completed his loan move from Nordsjaelland to Lausanne-Sport, with the agreement running until 30 June 2027.
