Former Esperance Tunis head coach Laurentiu Reghecampf has confirmed that he has received multiple offers from Egyptian clubs interested in securing his services.
Speaking in a recent television interview, the Romanian manager revealed that several clubs from Egypt have reached out to him regarding potential coaching roles.
However, he stopped short of revealing specific names but admitted that Zamalek is one of the sides he has followed closely.
He noted that Zamalek have a crucial final against Pyramids on June 5, hinting that discussions about a possible coaching role may become clearer after that match.
Addressing speculation about a potential move to Al Ahly, Reghecampf dismissed claims that he is in direct talks with the Cairo giants.
He clarified that while some agents had floated the idea following his exit from Esperance, there have been no formal discussions with the Al Ahly board.
Meanwhile, Zamalek recently parted ways with their Portuguese coach, Jose Peseiro, after a disappointing run of results.
In his place, the club appointed Ayman El Ramadi as interim head coach until the end of the season, as they seek stability in their technical setup.
Reghecampf, who has built a reputation for his aggressive, attacking style, has previously managed several high-profile clubs in Europe and the Middle East, including Steaua Bucharest and Al Wahda.
With Egyptian clubs seeking fresh ideas and tactical innovation, Reghecampf’s name is likely to remain in the conversation as clubs look to strengthen their technical benches ahead of the new season.
