Free agent Lassana Diarra is edging closer to a return to club football. According to France Football, the former Lokomotiv Moscow and Anji Makhachkala midfielder is currently in Scotland negotiating with Celtic Glasgow.
The French international, who boasts experience at elite clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal, and Real Madrid, is attracting significant interest. In addition to Celtic, Tottenham Hotspur and Olympique de Marseille are reportedly monitoring his situation closely.
At Marseille, manager Marcelo Bielsa is believed to view Diarra as a potential midfield reinforcement, particularly as a versatile and experienced option in the center of the park.
