Largie Ramazani left out of Leeds tour as Valencia push for permanent transfer

Largie Ramazani’s future at Leeds United looks increasingly uncertain after the winger was left out of the club’s pre-season tour to the United States, despite his outstanding loan spell at Valencia last season.

The decision underlines how far he has slipped down the pecking order at Elland Road.

Ramazani never managed to break into Manchester United’s first team, but made his name at Almería, forming a dangerous strike partnership with Luis Suarez, now a feared goalscorer at Sporting. His performances in La Liga earned him a move to Leeds in the summer of 2024, yet after just one Premier League campaign he was loaned to Valencia.

The start of his loan was mixed, with Ramazani struggling to secure a regular spot in the autumn. In the spring, however, the lightning-quick wide forward exploded into form and became one of the key reasons Valencia both preserved their La Liga status and pushed for a late European place.

Valencia now want to sign him permanently, and that wish is strengthened by the fact he appears unwanted at Leeds, who have excluded him from the US camp. In recent days, the 25-year-old has publicly expressed his desire to return to “Los Che”, making a reunion increasingly likely.
