Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal isn’t letting expectations weigh him down.
The talented youngster, featured in a special documentary by Decoded on Dazn, reflected on his rapid rise and his mindset toward the game.
At just 17, Yamal has already built a career filled with memorable moments. Speaking with Alberto Edjogo, the Golden Boy 2024 opened up about his roots, his earliest football memories, and his ambitions for the future. When asked about dealing with high expectations, he made his stance clear:
“If you only think about having fun and having fun, there is no pressure,” Yamal said.
Looking ahead, the young star has bold aspirations. “In two years, I hope to have already won a Champions League, to be enthusiastic about the idea of the World Cup, and to continue to progress individually.”
Yamal’s approach is simple—embrace the game with joy. For him, pressure is nothing more than an excuse. “The pressure does not exist, everything is in the head. You just have to focus on pleasure,” he added.
