Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal has etched his name into football history by becoming the youngest player ever named in the FIFPRO Men’s World 11.

At just 18 years old, the Spanish forward of Moroccan descent shattered Kylian Mbappé’s previous record from 2018, when the French star made the team aged 19.

Yamal’s remarkable rise reflects his extraordinary performances for Barcelona throughout the 2024/25 season, where his flair, composure, and creativity consistently drew global attention.

The 2025 FIFPRO Men’s World 11 also featured several of the game’s biggest names, including Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, and Achraf Hakimi, with Paris Saint-Germain dominating the list with four players.

FIFPRO Men’s World 11

The FIFPRO World 11 is voted for by professional footballers from 68 countries through a secure digital platform managed by FIFPRO and its affiliated player unions.

For the Men’s World 11, votes covered performances from 15 July 2024 to 3 August 2025, with players required to feature in at least 30 official matches. Each player selected three standout performers in four categories: goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and forward.

The final lineup comprised the most-voted players, with the 11th spot awarded to the next highest-ranked outfield player overall.
