Ahead of Barcelona’s upcoming LaLiga match against Las Palmas, manager Hansi Flick addressed the press, confirming the return of young talent Lamine Yamal.
Barcelona has played three games since Lamine Yamal’s injury, won just one, lost one and drew the other.
Flick stated that Yamal, who was born in Spain to a Moroccan father and an Equatoguinean mother, is fully fit and prepared to play, though it has not yet been decided whether he will start the game.
“Lamine Yamal is back and he’s ready to play. We haven’t decided yet if he’ll start, but he will play,” Flick said.
Flick added that Barcelona is more than just a football team to him, calling it a symbol of something greater.
“It’s an honor to be the manager of this team, and at this marvelous Club.”
“I feel that it is, in fact, ‘More than a Club.’ Today we will be at the celebration and we will feel all of the emotion,” he added.
