Lamine Yamal and Mikel Oyarzabal lead Spain attack as Luka Modric misses Croatia clash

Spain manager Luis de la Fuente has named Lamine Yamal and Mikel Oyarzabal in attack for Tuesday evening’s Nations League group-stage meeting with Croatia.

Spain top the group with three points after beginning their campaign with an exciting 3-2 victory over England. Croatia also have three points, but sit second on goal difference after defeating Czechia 2-1 in their opening match.

Spain’s starting XI is: Unai Simon; Pau Cubarsi, Dean Huijsen, Marc Cucurella; Martin Zubimendi, Fabian Ruiz, Fermin Lopez, Alex Baena, Lamine Yamal and Mikel Oyarzabal.

Croatia’s team does not include captain and midfield great Luka Modric, who has been left out of the starting line-up by manager Slaven Bilic.

Croatia’s XI is: Dominik Livakovic; Ivan Smolcic, Marin Pongracic, Josip Sutalo, Josko Gvardiol, Ivan Perisic; Mateo Kovacic, Mario Pasalic; Petar Sucic, Mesic and Beljo.
