Lamine Camara: Liverpool linked with Monaco midfielder
Senegal midfielder Lamine Camara, who plays for Monaco, has been linked with a move to Liverpool. The 22-year-old central midfielder is being associated with a switch from Ligue 1 to the Premier League.
Camara’s reported market value is €55m, placing him among Monaco’s more valuable current assets. No transfer fee has been agreed and the move remains at the rumour stage.
The potential transfer would see Liverpool pursue a player whose current contract with Monaco runs until 30 June 2029. That long-term agreement means the French club would retain control of Camara’s situation unless terms for a move can be reached with the Premier League side.
Camara joined Monaco’s senior set-up and remains registered as a central midfielder at the club. His age and established position appear to be central to the reported link, although there is no indication that negotiations have been completed or that a formal agreement is in place.
Liverpool have not been confirmed as having secured the player, and Camara remains a Monaco player as of 30 October 2026. His contract with the Ligue 1 club continues for almost three more seasons, with any potential move to Anfield dependent on further developments between the clubs.
