Lamine Camara attracts Premier League interest as Monaco set €50m asking price

AS Monaco have set a €50m asking price for Lamine Camara, with Crystal Palace having made the first official approach for the Senegal international.

The midfielder’s future has become a priority for Monaco following Maghnes Akliouche’s transfer to Paris Saint-Germain. Several English clubs are now monitoring Camara’s situation, while the player is considering his options with his agent, according to Foot Mercato.

Camara is valued at €40m, although Monaco are demanding €50m to sanction his departure. The 21-year-old’s annual salary is reported to be €920,000, equivalent to 598,000,000 CFA francs. His contract with the Principality club runs until 2029.

The Senegal international joined Monaco’s senior set-up after establishing himself as one of the country’s prominent young midfielders. His performances have now attracted attention from clubs with ambitions of strengthening their squads in the Premier League.
