Lamin Sillah: Gillingham linked with Gambian striker in Nottingham Under-21 loan move

Gambia centre-forward Lamin Sillah, currently with Gillingham, is linked with League Two club Gillingham after reportedly moving from Nottingham Under-21s.

The reported deal would see the 20-year-old join Gillingham on loan from Nottingham’s development side, with the move listed for 27 August 2026. The loan is scheduled to run until 31 May 2027, when Sillah is due to return to Nottingham Under-21s.

Sillah has yet to make an appearance this season, with no recorded minutes in either Premier League 2 or the National League Cup. He has been named as a centre-forward and holds Gambia nationality.

The move would represent a step into senior league football after Sillah spent the previous campaign with Nottingham Under-21s. He joined the club from Olympiacos Under-19s in July 2025, having previously won the Greek Under-19 title with the Greek club during the 2024-25 season.

Sillah’s recorded contract with Gillingham runs until 31 May 2027, matching the scheduled end of the loan. The reported transfer therefore remains tied to a temporary move rather than a permanent change of club, with Gillingham listed as his current side and Nottingham Under-21s as the parent club.
