La Viena FC complete deal for Egyptian winger Bashar Ashraf

Egyptian left winger Bashar Ashraf has joined La Viena FC from Ismaily on a free transfer, completing his move on 14 August 2026.

Ashraf, 19, arrives at the Egyptian club after a season in which he made four senior appearances across the Premier League, relegation play-off and Egypt Cup. He played 118 minutes in total, including 53 minutes in the Premier League, 25 in the relegation play-off and 40 in the cup.

The right-footed attacker began his recent senior career with Ismaily after moving up from Ismaily SC Under-21s in July 2025. His switch to La Viena FC now represents his second club move in senior football.

Ashraf’s league involvement came in two appearances, while he also featured once in the relegation play-off and once in the Egypt Cup. He did not score in those matches.

The move keeps Ashraf in Egyptian football as he changes clubs at the start of the 2026-27 season. La Viena FC have secured his arrival without a transfer fee, with the deal recorded as a free transfer from Ismaily.

The 19-year-old has therefore moved directly from Ismaily’s first team to La Viena FC, following his progression from the club’s Under-21 set-up. His preferred position is on the left side of attack, although he is naturally right-footed.

Ashraf’s transfer to La Viena FC was completed on 14 August 2026.
