La Viena appoint Hamad Ibrahim as new head coach
La Viena have appointed Hamad Ibrahim as their new head coach, replacing Ahmed Nabil “Manga” after his departure from the club.
Ibrahim will lead La Viena in the coming season, when the club is scheduled to compete in the Professional League. His appointment marks a change in the team’s technical leadership following the end of Nabil’s spell in charge.
The club also confirmed the full composition of Ibrahim’s coaching staff. Ahmed Khairy has been named general coach, while Hassan Nasr will take responsibility for the team’s goalkeepers.
Yasser Othman has been appointed fitness coach, with Yousef Sameh joining the staff as performance analyst.
Ibrahim’s most recent managerial position was with Ismaily in 2025. He also worked as an assistant coach at Al Ittihad Alexandria during the previous season.
His first match in charge of La Viena will come in the opening round of the Professional League, when the side face Kahraba Ismailia. Their opponents were recently relegated from the Egyptian Premier League.
The club’s decision to appoint Ibrahim comes as La Viena prepare for a new campaign in the Professional League, with the opening fixture providing an immediate test for the newly assembled technical team.
The full La Viena coaching staff is:
– Head coach: Hamad Ibrahim – General coach: Ahmed Khairy – Goalkeeping coach: Hassan Nasr – Fitness coach: Yasser Othman – Performance analyst: Yousef Sameh
Ibrahim now begins his latest managerial assignment after his previous experience as a head coach with Ismaily in 2025. His work as an assistant at Al Ittihad Alexandria last season also forms part of his recent coaching background.
La Viena will start their Professional League campaign against Kahraba Ismailia, who have dropped into the competition after being relegated from the Egyptian Premier League. The fixture will be Ibrahim’s first opportunity to oversee the team in a competitive match since taking charge.
The appointment was announced on Sunday, 9 August 2026, with La Viena confirming Ibrahim as the successor to Ahmed Nabil “Manga”. The club has also put in place the rest of the coaching structure that will work alongside the new head coach during the upcoming season.
