Kylian Mbappe has taken another big step in his business career by investing in French health insurance startup Alan.

The Real Madrid star revealed the move during Alan’s 10th anniversary event, confirming the backing comes through his Coalition Capital fund as part of a €100 million funding round that values the company at €5 billion.

While the exact size of Mbappe’s stake has not been made public, Alan CEO Jean-Charles Samuelian described the investment as “significant,” underlining the importance of the partnership for the fast-growing startup. Mbappe’s involvement goes beyond money, as he is also set to serve as an ambassador for the brand.

The forward will help drive new health-focused features on the platform, including fitness challenges, wellness content, and personalised recommendations designed to keep users more engaged with their wellbeing. This move deepens Mbappe’s presence in the tech and innovation space, adding to his existing role with fantasy football platform Sorare.

For Mbappe, the Alan deal blends long-term business vision with a focus on everyday health, reinforcing his image as more than just a footballer and positioning him as a modern entrepreneur.
