Kylian Mbappe has shared a deeply emotional account surrounding his former PSG teammate Achraf Hakimi, shedding light on a night filled with distress and confusion.
Speaking to investigators, the Real Madrid forward recalled a dinner outing that ended in unexpected turmoil. “That evening, we went to a restaurant. Achraf completely broke down, he cried. He really wasn’t well,” Mbappe said, describing Hakimi’s fragile state.
Mbappé recounted that Hakimi had spoken about intimate contact with a woman, adding that Hakimi said he had sensed no resistance from her. “He told me that they hadn’t slept together without telling me why,” Mbappe added.
The two footballers, close friends for years, have often spoken about boundaries and behavior off the pitch. “It’s a subject we discuss regularly and about which we are very vigilant,” Mbappe noted.
He went on to defend Hakimi’s character, stating that even under the influence of alcohol, he had never witnessed his friend act disrespectfully. “Even when he was drunk, I never saw him behave inappropriately,” he said.
