Kylian Mbappe has moved to calm concerns over his fitness, confirming that he has fully recovered from the knee injury that troubled him last year.

The Real Madrid forward dismissed recent rumours about his condition, making it clear that there is no cause for alarm.

Speaking at an event celebrating the tenth anniversary of Alan, a brand he recently partnered with, Mbappe addressed the speculation surrounding his health and form. He explained that such rumours come with the territory of being a top-level athlete.

“The knee is fine. It is improving and going very well. I know there has been considerable speculation and false information, but that is the life of a top-level athlete. We are accustomed to people saying things without verification or foundation,” Mbappe stated.

The French star added that he is now completely pain-free and ready to return to action. He is set to travel to the United States for upcoming friendlies against Brazil national team and Colombia national team, after completing a structured rehabilitation programme in Paris aimed at restoring him to peak condition.
