Ludogorets Razgrad delivered a clinical 4-0 win over Arda Kardzhali in Round 18 of the Bulgarian First Professional League at Arena Arda.
The champions took an early lead in the 10th minute when Rwan Cruz latched onto a superb pass from Son, making no mistake with his finish.
The visitors doubled their advantage just before halftime in the 36th minute, with Son expertly converting a pass from Cruz. Ludogorets’ control continued in the second half as Caio Vidal scored a bizarre header in the 77th minute, following a corner by Rick and a flick by Ivaylo Chochev.
Swiss-born Ghanaian striker Kwadwo Duah, who came on in the 83rd minute, put the game beyond doubt in the 87th minute. A free-kick from Son was met by Dinish Almeida’s foul on Duah, who capitalized by firing home from close range, adding his name to the scoresheet.
The victory extended Ludogorets’ unbeaten record over Arda, who remain without a win against them in their last 13 encounters. Ludogorets now turn their attention to Botev Plovdiv next week.
