Kongsvinger bring in Nigeria winger Emmanuel Olawore on four-year deal
Nigeria winger Emmanuel Olawore has joined Kongsvinger from Swedish club Umea FC, completing a move to the OBOS-ligaen side on 2 September 2026.
The 18-year-old right winger has agreed a contract with Kongsvinger running until 31 December 2030. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the move.
Olawore arrives after featuring regularly for Umea FC during the 2026 Ettan Norra campaign. He made 19 appearances in the competition, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
His involvement extended across almost the entire season for Umea. Olawore started 95% of the club’s possible matches and played 92% of the available minutes, while contributing to 17% of the team’s goals during those appearances.
The Nigerian joined Umea from Erinsoccer FC on 20 February 2026 before moving on to Kongsvinger less than seven months later. His switch to Norway represents the next step in a year that has already taken him between clubs in two countries.
Olawore’s preferred position is on the right side of attack, giving Kongsvinger a player who has operated as a winger throughout his recent competitive record. He also arrives with experience of a full regular campaign, having played in all 19 of Umea’s Ettan Norra matches recorded for the 2026 season.
Kongsvinger have secured the Nigerian’s services through the end of 2030, with the club confirming his arrival ahead of his new spell in the OBOS-ligaen. Emmanuel Olawore is now a Kongsvinger player.
