LENS COACH KOMBOUARÉ BRACES FOR “FURIOUS” MARSEILLE AT THE VÉLODROME
RC Lens manager Antoine Kombouaré is preparing his squad for a high-intensity battle this Sunday as they head to the Stade Vélodrome to face a wounded Olympique de Marseille side.
Despite OM’s recent setbacks, Kombouaré remains wary of their threat:
“Marseille remains a formidable opponent, a team surely upset by the two defeats they’ve just suffered,” he stated.
“They’re top of the league, and at home they’ve been unbeatable. We expect to suffer, to face furious players who’ll be running everywhere.”
Acknowledging the challenge, the Lens boss emphasized his team’s determination:
“We still want to show our best side. OM has a few small issues and we’ll try to exploit them. Their game demands a lot of physical effort—we’ll see if we can capitalize on that.”
With Marseille looking to bounce back and Lens eager to make a statement, the match promises to be a fierce Ligue 1 encounter.
