Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers provided an update on Kolo Touré’s injury after the defender sustained an injury during the Carling Cup match against Notts County. Rodgers stated that the injury is not as serious as initially feared, and they will evaluate it over the next 24 to 48 hours. Although Rodgers is uncertain about Touré’s availability for the upcoming match against Manchester United, he is confident that the Ivorian will be back after the international break if not this weekend. Touré was not called up for the Ivory Coast’s match against Morocco on September 7.
