Kofi Nimely, despite his name, is indeed Swiss due to his dual nationality. Born in Ghana, he moved to Switzerland at the age of six, where he grew up and was introduced to football. He achieved recognition on the international stage by winning the 2009 World Cup with the Swiss junior team in Nigeria. However, Nimely expressed his desire to play for Ghana, his homeland, stating that it has always been his dream to represent the Black Stars. Although he played for Switzerland at the junior level, he now aims to don the colors of the Ghanaian national team.
