Koffi N’Dri Romaric Extends Contract with Bastia
Midfielder Koffi N’Dri Romaric has committed his future to SC Bastia by signing a contract extension, the Corsican club confirmed on Tuesday.
The former Sevilla FC player has agreed to a new one-year deal, with an option for an additional year, keeping him at Bastia beyond the current season. Romaric initially joined the Ligue 1 side in 2013 on a one-year contract, which included a renewal option. His previous contract was set to expire at the end of this campaign, but Bastia have moved quickly to secure his services.
Romaric’s continued presence is a boost for Bastia as they look to build stability in midfield. The Ivorian, who previously played for Le Mans, brings valuable experience to the squad.
This extension marks a positive summer for Romaric both professionally and personally. After missing out on representing Ivory Coast at the recent World Cup, he celebrated a major milestone in May by marrying his longtime partner, Aurélie Méité.
