Kobbie Mainoo reportedly feels a lack of trust from Manchester Utd manager Ruben Amorim
English midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Kobbie Mainoo, is believed to be still keen on leaving Manchester United.
This is largely because the youngster feels manager Ruben Amorim does not trust him.
The 20-year-old impressed in the 2024 FA Cup Final and delivered strong displays during the European Championship, yet has seen limited playing time this season.
Football journalist Alex Crook has criticised Amorim’s handling of Mainoo, describing the situation as “infuriating.”
He argued that the manager’s tactical rigidity may be stifling the development of promising academy talents like Mainoo, calling it a “dereliction of duty” by the club’s leadership.
Mainoo’s situation continues to draw attention, with many observers questioning whether Manchester United is making the most of one of its brightest young prospects.
Some sources believe the English-Ghanaian will make another push to leave the club for a loan spell during the January transfer window.
