Kingsley Eduwo emerges as ES Sahel target after El Masry exit

Nigerian striker Kingsley Eduwo, currently without a club, is being linked with a move to Tunisian side ES Sahel.

The 30-year-old centre-forward left Egyptian club El Masry on 1 July 2026 and could now return to Tunisia, where ES Sahel compete in the country’s top flight. No transfer fee or contract terms have been reported for the proposed move.

Eduwo joined El Masry from Algerian club ES Setif in September 2025. During his time in Egypt, he helped the club win the Egyptian League Cup in the 2025-26 season, adding to honours won in Tunisia with Esperance and CS Sfaxien.

The Lagos-born forward has spent much of his career in African and Middle Eastern football. His previous clubs include Lobi Stars, CS Sfaxien, Esperance, Al-Orooba, Al-Arabi, Club Africain and ES Setif. He has recorded 16 goals in 71 Ligue 1 appearances and also scored five times in 11 CAF Champions League matches.

Eduwo’s current market value is listed at €200,000, although his availability without a club could make him a straightforward target for ES Sahel. The reported interest remains at the rumour stage, with the striker yet to be confirmed as an ES Sahel player.
