France international **Kingsley Coman** has been voted the best footballer in the world under the age of 20 by Italian sports daily *Gazzetta dello Sport*.
The 19-year-old winger, who came through the academy at **Paris Saint-Germain** before moving to Juventus and later **Bayern Munich**, tops a list of emerging stars from across Europe and beyond.
Coman, of Guinean descent, beat **Leroy Sané** — the Schalke 04 and Germany forward of Senegalese heritage — into second place, with Belgian prodigy **Youri Tielemans** of Anderlecht completing the podium.
Rounding out the top five are AC Milan’s teenage goalkeeper **Gianluigi Donnarumma**, who has already established himself as a Serie A regular at just 16, and Swiss forward **Breel Embolo** of FC Basel, another highly sought-after prospect in European football.
France is particularly well represented on the list, with **five players** making the cut. Alongside Coman, Toulouse goalkeeper **Alban Lafont** (34th), Monaco defender **Abdou Diallo** (on loan at Zulte Waregem, 28th), Rennes winger **Ousmane Dembélé** (39th), Manchester City’s **Olivier Ntcham** (on loan at Genoa, 41st) and Paris Saint-Germain forward **Jean-Kévin Augustin** were all included.
The recognition is another step in Coman’s rapid rise. Since joining Bayern Munich on loan from Juventus, the winger has impressed in both the **Bundesliga** and **Champions League**, drawing praise for his pace, direct running, and ability to perform on the big stage.
With France boasting a new generation of exciting talent, and Coman now officially recognised among the very best young players in the world, expectations around the teenager will only continue to grow.
