Kheirredine Madoui is not backing down as CS Constantine prepare for a crucial showdown with RS Berkane.
The Algerian side faces an uphill battle on Sunday in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final, but their coach is determined to keep hope alive.
Speaking to Kooora, Madoui said: “We are well aware of the difficulty of the task ahead of us against RS Berkane, but we will go into the game with the intention of winning.
“We have nothing to lose in this game, we have prepared for it in all aspects. Our players have put the first leg loss behind them and we are now mentally and emotionally ready to honour the reputation of Algerian football.”
Constantine suffered a setback in the first leg, but Madoui remains confident his team can bounce back with a strong performance. He stressed the importance of resilience and focus, noting that his squad had worked hard on both the tactical and mental side of the game.
CS Constantine will need a near-perfect night to reach the final, and Madoui believes they are ready.
