Kheir Eddine Toual: Algeria midfielder joins El Masry from ES Setif in €43k deal
Algerian attacking midfielder Kheir Eddine Toual has joined Egyptian Premier League side El Masry from ES Setif in a permanent transfer worth €43,000. The 24-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2030 with the Port Said club.
Toual, who was born in Messaad and stands at 1.70m, moves to Egypt after a consistent spell in Algeria’s top flight, where he built a reputation as an attacking midfielder capable of contributing in the final third. His market value is currently listed at €350,000.
He arrives from ES Setif, whom he joined in July 2025 after leaving USM Alger. During his time in Algeria’s Ligue 1, Toual made 79 league appearances, scoring seven goals and adding six assists, while also featuring in the domestic cup and gaining brief experience in continental competition in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Before his stint at Setif, Toual’s career included a series of moves within Algeria. He first stepped up to USM Alger from RC Arbaa on a free transfer in 2023 and had loan spells at ES Ben Aknoun and MC El Bayadh, returning from both at the end of each loan.
El Masry’s acquisition of Toual brings a player with steady top-flight and cup experience into the Egyptian Premier League, with the midfielder now tied to the club on a four-year deal.
