Khaled El-Drandaly, Vice President of the Egyptian Football Association, extended an invitation to the Egyptian national team for a dinner at a local restaurant near their accommodation in Abidjan.
The coaching staff, led by Roy Vitoria, is contemplating traveling to San Pedro next Friday in preparation for the Round of 16 match in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.
Officials from the Egyptian national team revealed that San Pedro experiences higher humidity levels compared to the team’s current location in the Ivorian capital, Abidjan.
The Egyptian national team is gearing up for the Round of 16 match in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled for Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 10:00 PM Cairo time.
They will face the runner-up from Group Six, consisting of Morocco, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Tanzania.
Morocco currently leads the group with 4 points.
The crucial match for Egypt will take place at the Laurent Pokou Stadium in San Pedro.
