AC Milan’s Ghanaian strikerKevin-Prince Boateng left the field during a match due to racist chants from spectators. In response, Silvio Berlusconi, the owner of AC Milan, stated that if similar problems occur in the future, the team will leave the field as a rule. Berlusconi praised Boateng for his reaction against the racist episode. The management of the opposing club, Pro Patria, also reacted by announcing that during the next meeting, the stadium would be open to all people of color in the grandstand, free of charge, as a signal against racism.
