However, Kevin Osei, the club’s Franco-Ghanaian striker, was notably absent from training. According to the club’s official website, Osei is currently on trial in Portugal.
To provide him with more playing opportunities, OM has granted permission for Osei to undergo a trial at Maritimo Funchal, a Portuguese club located in the city of Madeira. Madeira is a seaside resort and also the birthplace of Cristiano Ronaldo. If the trial proves successful, a loan move for Osei to Maritimo Funchal may be considered as part of the arrangement.
