Kevin Denkey transfer rumour: Hull City target Cincinnati striker

Togo-France forward Kevin Denkey is the subject of reported interest from Hull City, with the Cincinnati striker linked with a move to the Premier League club.

Denkey, 25, has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 17 Major League Soccer appearances for Cincinnati this season. He has also scored four goals in three CONCACAF Champions Cup matches, making him a significant contributor to the club’s campaign.

The centre-forward joined Cincinnati from Cercle Brugge in January 2025 for a reported €15.3m fee. He had finished the 2023-24 season as the Jupiler Pro League’s top scorer with 27 goals before making the move to Major League Soccer.

Denkey’s current market value is listed at €12m, while his contract with Cincinnati runs until 31 December 2028. That long-term agreement means any move to Hull would require the clubs to reach an agreement on a permanent transfer, although no fee has been reported for the rumoured deal.

Denkey has made 17 league appearances this season, starting 89% of Cincinnati’s matches and playing 88% of the available minutes. He has also featured three times in the Leagues Cup.

No transfer has been confirmed, and Denkey remains a Cincinnati player under contract through the end of 2028.
