The friendly match between AC Milan and Pro Patria was abruptly stopped after Kevin-Prince Boateng, exasperated by racist chants from the stands, took off his jersey and left the pitch, followed by his teammates. Despite calls from the host club to continue, AC Milan refused to return. Coach Maximiliano Allegri condemned the racist behavior, stating that it was a shame to still witness such actions in 2013.
