Belgium-Nigeria winger Kazeem Olaigbe is being linked with a move from Trabzonspor to Süper Lig rivals Kasimpasa, according to transfer data compiled on 19 December 2025.

The 22-year-old, currently valued at €5.00m, is the subject of speculation over a potential switch within Türkiye’s top flight, with the probability of a deal listed as unclear. No fee, contract details or formal agreement are indicated, and there is no recorded expiry date on his Trabzonspor deal, leaving open the possibility he could become a free agent at some stage if no extension is agreed.

Olaigbe only joined Trabzonspor from French side Stade Rennais earlier in 2025, following a rapid rise in his valuation over the past three years. The Istanbul club Kasimpasa are reported as the interested party, with the rumour placing him as a like-for-like reinforcement on the left flank. For now, however, the information reflects a link rather than an advanced negotiation.

Born in Brussels on 2 January 2003, the right-footed left winger has represented a diverse set of clubs and leagues despite his age. After leaving RSC Anderlecht’s youth ranks for Southampton’s academy in 2019, he progressed through Southampton’s under-18 and under-21 sides, gaining senior experience on loan at Ross County in Scotland and Harrogate Town in England before moving back to Belgium with Cercle Brugge.

His performances there coincided with a steady rise in market value, from €150,000 at Ross County in 2022 to €2m at Cercle Brugge by late 2024, then €5m after his transfer to Rennes and subsequent move to Trabzonspor. The current rumour does not provide recent match specifics, but his profile as an attacking left winger makes him an obvious target for a Kasimpasa side seeking pace and directness out wide.

Should a move materialise, a step to Kasimpasa could offer Olaigbe regular Süper Lig minutes in Istanbul and a fresh platform to shape the next phase of a promising, still-evolving career.
