Karim Adeyemi has reportedly declined Borussia Dortmund’s latest attempt to extend his contract, despite the club offering a significant increase in his monthly wages.

The German international, who is of Nigerian descent, is said to be hesitant about committing his future to the Bundesliga side as negotiations continue to drag on.

Multiple media outlets report that Dortmund remain determined to secure an extension for the winger, but discussions have become increasingly complicated.

According to Sky, the club is willing to raise Adeyemi’s salary from €475,000 per month to €600,000, yet they are not ready to elevate him into their highest-earning bracket.

The proposed increase, however, appears insufficient for Adeyemi and his agent, Jorge Mendes. Reports from within the player’s camp suggest that he is weighing up the possibility of a transfer, adding further uncertainty to his situation at the club.

As Dortmund push to finalise an agreement, Adeyemi’s future remains unresolved, with growing speculation that a move away from the Signal Iduna Park could be on the horizon.

He has already been linked with a possible move to Arsenal and Manchester United.
