Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana made a brief appearance in Southampton’s 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on Friday night.
Sulemana, named on the bench for the Saints, entered the match in the 88th minute as a substitute for Cameron Archer.
His late introduction injected pace into Southampton’s attack, but neither side could find a decisive goal in the final moments.
Brighton opened the scoring through Kaoru Mitoma in the first half, but Southampton’s Flynn Downes equalized after the break to ensure the points were shared.
This was Sulemana’s second Premier League outing of the 2024/25 season.
The Ghanaian international is eager to earn more playing time and stay injury-free to contribute to Southampton’s campaign as they aim to secure their place in the top flight.
