Kaizer Chiefs will closely monitor Tanzania midfielder Felsail Salum at the Cosafa Cup tournament in South Africa.
The Bafana Bafana will play host to Tanzania on June 6 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, as both teams prepare for the continuation of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in September.
Included in the Tanzania squad is Kaizer Chiefs target Felsail Salum, who plies his trade for Azam FC. Having held talks with Nasreddine Nabi over a possible transfer this week, the upcoming clash gives the Soweto giants the chance to monitor the midfielder.
With no deal between both parties, Salum would be out to impress when the Taifa Stars face Bafana and at the Cosafa Cup.
Kaizer Chiefs would be keen on having a close watch of the midfielder as the club seeks to snap up his services this summer.
The Tanzania international would be hoping to be handed some game time during Tanzania’s time in South Africa.
The Amakhosi coach Nasreddine Nabi already knows Salum after the two previously worked together at Young Africans.
