South African giants Kaizer Chiefs have lined up five top players for a possible acquisition as the summer transfer window approaches.
The Soweto giants are seeking to strengthen their squad for the new campaign following an inconsistent performance this season, particularly in the Premiership.
Despite their cup triumph, Kaizer Chiefs fell short of lofty expectations in the league and are eager to fix their wrongs for the new season with high-profile signings.
Kaizer Chiefs are desperate to turnaround things around next season and are determined to do everything possible to make multiple signings.
Among the list is Nigerian midfielder Kingsley Michael, who is a former player for Serie A outfit Bologna. The 25-year-old made five Serie A matches for the club and also boasts of stints with Perugia, Cremonese, and Reggina in Italy.
Currently, Kingsley Michael plies his trade with Tunisian outfit US Monastir, with his contract set to expire in the summer 2026.
Kaizer Chiefs have also target another European-experienced forward Djibril Ouattara, who once played for Dutch side Vitesse and is currently with APR in Rwanda.
Other players on the radar of the Soweto club is Fiston Mayele of Pyramids, who recently dashed Orlando Pirates’ hopes in the CAF Champions League semi-finals, Jonathan Sowah of Libyan club Al-Nasr, and Kibu Denis from Simba.
