Kaizer Chiefs name starting XI for Carling Knockout quarter-final against Siwelele FC
Kaizer Chiefs have named their starting XI for Sunday’s Carling Knockout quarter-final against Siwelele FC at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
The match, scheduled for 18h00 on 08 November 2026, was originally due to begin at 15h00. The kick-off was changed because Mamelodi Sundowns are facing USM Alger in the CAF Super Cup.
Chiefs reached the last eight after Wandile Duba scored a hat-trick in their 3-1 victory against TS Galaxy last week. Fernando da Cruz’s side were unable to follow that result with another win, however, losing 2-1 to Orlando Pirates in the first Soweto Derby of the season.
Siwelele required a penalty shootout to progress from the previous round. Their tie against Polokwane City finished goalless in regulation time before Siwelele secured their place in the quarter-finals from the spot.
The teams have already met in the league this season, with Da Cruz’s side recording a 3-2 victory in September.
