Kaizer Chiefs legend Junior Khanye has criticized Orlando Pirates coach Abdelslam Ouaddou’s tactical approach following defeat to Marumo Gallants in the South African Premier League clash.
The Soweto giants has yet to record a win after two matches into the South African top-flight campaign, suffering back-to-back defeats across the period.
After two matches, Orlando Pirates find themselves in the 14th position, sparking concerns about the club’s readiness for the season.
In matchday 2 of the Premier League season, Pirates succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Marumo Gallants.
And Khanye insists the club shouldn’t have made many changes for the clash against Marumo Gallants.
“The Pirates looked like a completely new team. I’m not entirely sure why they made so many changes before this match. They want to challenge for the league title. They should have stuck with the side that played over the weekend,” Khanye stated.
In their next fixture, the Pirates will take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-final. The match is set for Saturday, August 16.
