South African outfit Kaizer Chiefs have begun negotiation for the acquisition of former winger Lebohang Lesako in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old departed the Soweto giants two seasons ago, joining South African lower-tier club Casric Stars. Following an impressive performance, the Premier League outfit has set sights on re-signing the attacker.
Despite expressing interest in the player, Kaizer Chief are not in a hurry to open negotiations, as Casric Stars are currently participating in the PSL promotion/relegation playoffs.
At the conclusion of the playoff, the Soweto giants will officially open talks for the signing of the winger.
Kaizer Chiefs are seeking to strengthen their squad for the 2025/26 football campaign following an inconsistent performance.
Despite ending their 10-year trophy drought, the Soweto club missed out on the top eight, prompting a major squad overhaul.
