Kaizer Chiefs will look to recover from their CAF Confederation Cup disappointment when they host TS Galaxy in the Carling Knockout on Tuesday evening.
The match will be played at FNB Stadium on 26 October 2026, with both sides hoping the cup competition can provide a lift after difficult domestic starts.
Chiefs were eliminated from the Confederation Cup on Friday by Zambian club Red Arrows following a penalty shoot-out. The Amakhosi secured a 1-0 victory in regulation time but could not score the additional goal required to settle the tie before penalties.
Their league form has also been a concern. Kaizer Chiefs have gone four matches without a win in the league and are now nine points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
TS Galaxy have endured an even slower beginning to their league campaign, recording only one victory in their opening eight matches.
That run led to Bernard Parker leaving his position as head coach. TS Galaxy have not yet confirmed who will take over the role on a permanent basis.
Kaizer Chiefs start with Petersen in goal, behind a defence of Frosler, Mako, Moloisane and Dortley. Maboe, Vilakazi and Mthethwa make up the midfield, while Shabalala and Mmodi support Duba in attack.
