South African football heavyweights Kaizer Chiefs have set their sights on Asante Kotoko’s Guinean goalkeeper, Mohammed Camara.

Camara, who joined the Ghanaian giants last season, has quickly established himself as a key figure between the posts.

He played a pivotal role in Kotoko’s 2024/25 FA Cup triumph and was instrumental in their victory over Chiefs in the 2025 Toyota Cup, earning hero status with his match-winning performance.

Despite already having four goalkeepers—Brandon Peterson, Bruce Bvuma, Fiacre Ntwari, and Karabo Molefe—Chiefs are reportedly keen on bolstering their squad with the 25-year-old shot-stopper.

Sources indicate that Chiefs plan to open discussions with Kotoko regarding Camara, whose contract runs until June 2026.

It remains uncertain whether the highly-rated goalkeeper will make the move, especially with Kotoko preparing for the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup.
