Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has broken his silence regarding the exit of veteran defender Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, who recently completed a move to a Libyan club.
The announcement followed Ditlhokwe’s successful 18-month stint with Amakhosi, which saw him appear in 32 matches after joining from SuperSport United in the 2023-2024 season.
In his first official statement since the transfer, Nabi expressed his best wishes for the 28-year-old. “First, I want to wish TT all the best in his new adventure. He’s a lovely guy. Very professional and was in my first 11 honestly. For that, from the management and myself, I don’t protect him because he gives his all in Kaizer Chiefs,” Nabi told iDiski Times.
Ditlhokwe’s final match for Kaizer Chiefs was a 1-0 win against Stellenbosch, marking the end of his time with the club. Despite the departure, Kaizer Chiefs, sitting in 6th place on the South African Premier League table with 25 points, continues to push forward.
