South African outfit Kaizer Chiefs have commenced early preparation to equip themselves for the 2025/26 football campaign.
Despite ending their 10-year trophy drought, the Soweto giants finished out of the top eight in the Premier League season. However, the club has started preseason training as they eye a much improved performance next season.
Meanwhile, three players have been granted extra time off after featuring in the COSAFA Cup for South Africa.
The players featured for the Bafana Bafana and made it all the way to the tournament final. The trio are expected to team up with Kaizer Chiefs on June 30.
Kaizer Chiefs have also confirmed the departure of four more players from the squad. With the club undergoing a major squad overhaul, news of player exits is surfacing almost daily.
Meanwhile, there is still no information regarding new signings. The club remains tight-lipped and has yet to make any official statements on the matter.
