Jeremie Boga joins Juventus on permanent deal

Juventus have completed the permanent signing of Ivory Coast international Jeremie Boga after exercising the purchase option included in his loan agreement from French club Nice.

The Turin giants have rewarded the forward’s impressive performances since his arrival by handing him a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until June 2029.

Boga initially joined Juventus during the winter transfer window as the club sought to strengthen its attacking options for the second half of the season. What began as a temporary move has now become a permanent stay after the Ivorian convinced the club’s hierarchy and coaching staff of his value.

The 29-year-old made an immediate impact following his arrival in Turin, bringing pace, creativity and attacking versatility to the Juventus frontline. Despite joining midway through the campaign, he quickly adapted to his new surroundings and established himself as an important member of the squad.

In 17 appearances across all competitions, Boga contributed four goals and one assist, numbers that reflected both his influence in the final third and his growing importance within the team’s attacking structure.

Juventus officials were reportedly satisfied not only with his statistical contribution but also with the experience, work ethic and tactical flexibility he brought to the side. His ability to operate in multiple attacking roles gave the coaching staff additional options during a crucial period of the season.

The decision to activate the buyout clause highlights the club’s confidence in the former Nice star and their belief that he can continue to play a significant role in the years ahead.

For Boga, the agreement marks another important chapter in a career that has taken him through some of Europe’s most competitive leagues. Having previously featured in England, France and Italy, the forward has built a reputation as a technically gifted attacker capable of unlocking defences with his dribbling ability and direct running.

The permanent move also provides stability for the Ivory Coast international as he continues to compete at the highest level of European football. With Juventus aiming to challenge for major honours domestically and on the continental stage, Boga will be expected to contribute both goals and experience to an ambitious squad.

The transfer is also positive news for Ivory Coast, whose national team continues to benefit from having key players competing for top clubs across Europe. Boga remains an important figure for the Elephants and will hope regular football at Juventus helps him maintain his place in the national team setup.

After a successful loan spell, Juventus have now made their intentions clear. Jeremie Boga is no longer a temporary addition in Turin but a central part of the club’s plans for the future, with both player and club looking forward to a new chapter together through to 2029.
