Juventus target Brahim Diaz for summer reinforcement

Juventus have refreshed their summer transfer list and singled out Real Madrid playmaker Brahim Diaz as a primary attacking option.

Head coach Luciano Spalletti has tracked the Moroccan international since his AC Milan days and is impressed by his progress.

The talented right winger, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, struggled for consistent minutes last season amid Madrid’s competitive forward line, yet still delivered one goal and eight assists across all competitions. His contract runs out next year, making a summer departure likely given the uncertainty over his future role.

Madrid might retain Diaz as a quality squad player if Franco Mastantuono exits after a disappointing debut season. For Juventus, signing Diaz makes sense with Francisco Conceicao linked elsewhere and Edon Zhegrova in poor form.
