Juventus renew interest in Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz

Juventus have revived their interest in Brahim Diaz as they begin planning their summer transfer business, with the Real Madrid midfielder emerging as one of their leading targets.

The Turin club are assessing experienced players who could become available without a transfer fee, and are monitoring opportunities in the Spanish market. According to Tuttosport, Diaz remains high on Juventus’ shortlist.

The 27-year-old’s contract with Real Madrid expires in June next year, and no agreement has yet been reached over an extension. That situation has encouraged Juventus to examine the possibility of signing the Morocco international when his current deal ends.

Juventus face strong competition

The move will not be straightforward, however, with several clubs also tracking Diaz’s position. Turkish sides Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are reported to be actively interested, while AC Milan are also following the player ahead of summer 2027, as previously reported exclusively by Africafoot.

Diaz’s limited involvement this season could make the coming months particularly important for his career. He has made only four appearances and provided one assist, having been used in a secondary role.

Juventus hope that uncertainty over his position at Real Madrid will allow them to move ahead of their rivals and secure an agreement. The Italian club are understood to be considering an approach before the competition for his signature intensifies.

According to Transfermarkt, Diaz is valued at 35 million euros. His annual salary is listed as 7,290,000 euros, equivalent to 4,738,500,000 FCFA.

The midfielder is also due to join Morocco for an upcoming friendly against Mali.
