Paul Pogba, a former member of Manchester United, revealed that he never had the chance to have a conversation with the English club before departing in 2012 to join Juventus Turin. The 21-year-old Franco-Guinean midfielder, who has played 33 games and scored 7 goals in Serie A this season, harbors resentment toward the Manchester United leadership, viewing their actions as disrespectful.
“They forced me out by claiming I wanted to leave. It’s disrespectful. Perhaps they didn’t realize their mistake with me. The coach assured me there was playing time available, but nothing materialized. Manchester United is a prestigious club, but ultimately, you have to prioritize your own interests,” the French international expressed to the BBC.
Pogba joined Juventus on a free transfer due to the failure to reach an agreement on a contract extension with the Red Devils.
